Chili Cook-Off Rules

You must bring your chili in a slow cooker/Crock Pot or alternative heating source.

You must bring a serving utensil.

Please bring a minimum of 2 gallons of your chili.

Please keep your chili secret, as to not throw the votes.

There will be panel of judges', along with the people's choice to determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, and a people's choice winner!

You must register your chili by Sunday, March 30th, 2025.

Chili must be cooked from scratch.

You may decorate your serving space.

All chili must be cooked in a sanitary manner.

Judges will abstain from inspecting/sampling chili prior to judging.

Judges and The People will take into consideration the aroma, the consistency, the color, the taste, and the after taste of the chili.

What is the cost, and what do we need to bring?

Registration is free. You are responsible to bring your own crock pot, slow cooker or other heating source. You will need to bring a serving utensil. If you choose to decorate your chili space, you may do so by bringing your own decorations.

What is the set-up time, and when is judging?

You may set up your area between any time after 1 pm. Your area/chili must be ready by 3 pm. We suggest you bring warmed chili to the event, to assure it is hot and ready on time. Judges will be served at 3:15 pm. All other guests will eat following that time.

What is the People's Choice Award?

After the judges have all sampled the chili, all other guests will be allowed to eat. We will have a complete topping bar and many sides to compliment the chili.
